Best of Broadway Musical Caroline, or Change Opening Night a Benefit Performance for Gateway

San Francisco – Tony Kushner’s new musical Caroline or Change opened at the Curran Theatre on January 18, 2005 to a packed house, including more than 400 from the Gateway community, including faculty, parents Board, and friends.
The opening night performance was a benefit for the Gateway Learning Center, which helped raise more than $70,000.
Many of the original Broadway cast reprise their role in this deeply moving, smart, and piercingly funny semi-autobiographical story.
Many thanks to the Gateway community who came out that evening in support of our School. And a very special thanks to Caroline, or Change producer, and Gateway Board member, Carole Shorenstein Hays for inviting Gateway to participate in an amazing evening of musical theater to benefit our School.
