Gateway Girls’ and Boys’ Basketball Teams Are Division Champs!
February 11th, 2005
In a true testimony to determination, dedication and school spirit, despite having no gym, and new coaches the Gateway boys’ and girls basketball teams clinched their respecitve divisions and advance to the playoffs.
On February 9 the boys basketball team, under the steady direction of Ned Diamond beat University 63-45, giving them an astounding 11-1 season record.
The Gateway girls’ basketball team, on February 8, beat Leadership 58-21, with an impressive season record of 9-1 and a first place tie with I.H.S. in DIV II.
PLAYOFFS
Girls' - Saturday 2/12/05 1:00PM at SOTA against Waldorf. If the girls team advances the next game will be at SOTA on February 15, 2005 at 4:30 PM.
Boys' - Wednesday 2/23/05 at Kezar. Time TBA. If the Gator boys’ are victorious they will play again at Kezar on February 25, 2005 at 8:000 PM.
