The 10/10 Party & Auction
November 24th, 2008
Gateway parents and friends of the school came together to celebrate our 10th year of excellence in public education.
On 10/10/08, Friday, October 10th, the TEN TEN Party took place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts from 6-9 pm. Our entire Gateway community, board, faculty, staff, alumni, friends and parents came together to enjoy a fun fun event featuring live and silent auctions with KFOG’s Peter Finch as special guest auctioneer and our own Mike Day as Master of Ceremonies. Live auction items included dinner with the principal, a ride of KGO Jetcopter 810, a Italian 5 course meal, trip to New York to see THE VIEW to name a few of the TOP TEN auction items. A fabulous band donated the "beat" to rock the house--The Troublemakers' Union! Thank you to Knight's Catering for a TOP TEN meal and to an extraordinary committee of dedicated parents.
Thanks to the hard work of chairs Tracy Pore and Ginny Gjedsted all Ten Ten party proceeds (over $40,000) will go to support our educational program. We are so grateful for our Gateway community!
