Gateway Baseball Heads to the Championship

Gateway's baseball team pulled out a great win yesterday 5-4 in the bottom of the 7th to advance to the Championship Game Friday at SF State at 4:30PM.
Athletic Director Joe Killmaier writes:
It was a very exciting game. With two outs, nobody on base and tied 4-4 in the bottom of the 7th (for high schools -the last inning) the boys decided it was time to win one for the Olken!
Somehow they managed to load the bases in Gateway style. Senior Chris Johengen throws a wild pitch and Fauris Franco scored from third to win the game. A very fun game to watch. Come out and cheer for us on Friday, May 21 at 4:30 at SF State as we play for the championship!
